「緊密に協力させる、提携させる」という意味の動調。
もともと「一直線に並べる」
という意味があり、人やものを同じ方向に整列させる、つまり「足並みをそろえて
緊密に協力させる」という意味になります。
allianceと同様に、同じ方向を向いて協力する関係を築かせる、といった意味合いで使います。ビジネスにおいて、ほかの人や組織との協力関係は必須です。
alignは目標達成のために欠くことのできない言葉でしょう。
動詞align はwith とよく一緒に使われます。たとえば、~align oneself
with人・もの》という表現を覚えるといいでしょう。
Employees must align themselves with the corporate mission.
従業員は会社のミッションに賛同(して行動)しなければならない。
closely，:firmly，fullyなどと一緒に使うと、協調関係が緊密であることを言い表せます。

ALLIANCE
An alliance is a union or an association formed for mutual
benefit，especially between countries or organizations.
「提携、協力」という意味の名詞。また「同盟、連合」という意味でも使われ ます。
強く緊密な協力関係を表現する際や事業提携の際に使いたい単語。 さまざまな人たちゃ組織がかかわって、ビジネスは行われます。ただの「協力関係」を超えた結束力を、allianceを使って表現しましょう。
